Anita Barbara (Rizzo) Koehler was born to Leonardo Rizzo (1884 - 1962) and Filippa Pellicane (1895 - 1987). Her father was born in Sicily, as was her mother. Anita had eight siblings, Leonard, Mary, Rose, Catherine, Nicholas, Gasper, Peter Philip, and Josephine Ann Rizzo.
Anita Rizzo married Fred Koehler on August 14, 1954 and they had two daughters, Beverley and Lynne. They were married until she passed and she was also survived by two grandchildren.
