He was born on Sept 15, 1903 in Linton, Emmons County, North Dakota to Peter & Barbara (Bachmann) Oster. In 1910 he was living in Dearborn, Beadle, South Dakota with his parents then they moved to Erve, Campbell, South Dakota then in around 1925 he lived in Danbury, Emmons, North Dakota. On September 23, 1928 he married Lydia Alice Munsch, throughout their marriage they had 4 boys-Melbert, Marvin, Freddie, and James, and only one daughter named Delores. They lived in North Dakota until 1941 they moved to Centralia, Lewis, Washington. Then unfortunately when Delores when only one years old her mother passed away while in Coeur D'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho Lydia on November 14, 1942. After the passing of his wife he remained in Centralia, two years later on October 17, 1944 he married Myrtle Blurton but they were divorced before 1956. Then in 1963 his only daughter passed away at the age of 22 on December 12th in Centralia. While living in Centralia Adolph got to see a few of his boys get married. On August 25th 1979 Adolph passed away in Centralia, Lewis County, Washington and he is buried at Greenwood Memorial Park.
Adolph J Oster of Greeley, Weld County, CO was born on February 11, 1893, and died at age 95 years old on December 6, 1988.
