2 Aaron Sherard Biographies

Aaron Daniel (Boone) Sherard died after a long courageous battle with cancer. Boone was born on Sept. 1, 1948, at Sheridan, Wyo., to Lowell and Ruth Sherard. Growing up, Boone went to over 20 different schools. The family lived in Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Oregon. Boone graduated from Wahtonka High School in The Dalles, Ore. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy in August 1966. He married Sharon Dyball. They had two sons, Jon and Mike. They were divorced in 1977. In 1978 he was married to Rhonda Conrad for six months. Boone married Rhodie Tanner on April 19, 1980. He was a heavy equipment operator, and long distance truck driver. He liked to say "driving a truck wasn't a job, but a way to see the country and get paid for it." He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rhodie; two sons, Jon (Shawna) of Newport, Ore., and Mike of Walport, Ore. The twinkle in his eyes was his three granddaughters, Desiree and Kelsea of Newport, Ore., and Cheyenne of The Dalles, Ore.. He is also survived by three brothers; Jim (Shirley) of Yakima, Wash., and Dale and Harry Jay of Marsing; one sister, Sharon (John) Glascock of Parma, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell & Ruth Sherard. At his request no services will be held. His ashes will be taken to Meadow Lark Lake in Wyoming. Rhodie and Boone would like to thank Vallivue School District. Hugs, kisses and a huge THANK-YOU to their family and friends at Vallivue High School, for all their love and support. Aaron D Sherard of Nampa, Canyon County, ID was born on September 1, 1948, and died at age 59 years old on August 21, 2008.
